Pride & Perjudice
Two lovers have to overcome pride, for the female hero, and prejudice, for the male hero, before being together. When first he meets her, he refuses her company, for he finds her very common and not handsome [*pretty]. He has not tried to hide his motives from her. Her pride gets hurt. But it is not long before the man falls in love with her. His prejudice holds him back from disclosing his love for her. Even when he proposes marriage for the first time, his prejudice is still tangible. The conclusion of that story does not end at the first marriage proposal for she refuses it. As the story continues, his prejudice disappears and, only when her pride is overcome, does she consent to marry him.

1. How is voice-over used in the trailer for Pride and Prejudice? What does it actually say and how does it help to tie the trailer together?
The voice-over is the narrator. This voice tells what was the first Elizabeth's thought about Darcy marriage proposal and then it gets the oppossite and she completely falls in love to him. It helps to tie the trailer because if it wouldn't say nothing we probably would not anderstand what the film is about.
