My frist days at schoold

Today I will explain something about my first impressions of this new school course. It was so diffent than the last year, I think this yaer will be more difficult. We have new subject and new timetables, so, we have new teachers too. More or lees there ae the same students than the last year, but there are also new comers and people taht have this course repeat. We haven't done any exam right now, but we will do at less 2 exams these week and tha first week of december will be plenty of exams. I hope I could pass this course!

My summer

Well, today I will explain something about my summer. The best day of my summer was without any dude 27th of Juni 2008. Why? well because this day I went to a concert of my favourite group of music in Barcelona. In the concert I met my Friend Maria -she is from Valencia- and after the concert I spent some of my summer days with her in her hause. Then, she went with me to Lloret and I showed her Barcelona and Girona. In August I travelled to Leon with my parents to see my family and I really have a good time with my cousin Clara. We were 1 week together and then I travelled to Leon city to see the father's family . The rest of the summer I were in Lloret with my friends. We went to the beach, made trips in bike and went out at night.

What I think about this year

Well, first of all I want to say that this had been the only one year that I have done and learn english in the secundary school, because the last three years we haven't done anything. In my opinion it was the most sucessful english year in this school. We have mostly end the book and we have done another interactive and extra activities, that are really good! We have also practise the oral and see videos and , for me, the most brilliant thing: the english blog =) I think that sometimes we have gone a little bit quick with the book's themes. But i hope the next we can continue with this blog and also continue make another interactive english things like travelling to London, it will be soooooo wonderful =D I will continue practising my english!

More Strange Tales

This is the last book, we should read for our english class. In my opinion it was more much interesting that the last one. This book it's about supernatural things.I mean, things that are impossible to happen and however they happen. For exemple UFOs, Poltergeists... There are explained 6 differents cases. 6 really strange and a little bit scrared stories. The tittles of these stories are: MURDER IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS, BADMIN MOOR, POLTERGEISTS, PRESTON MANOR, AN ENCOUNTER WITH UFOS. When you reed it you feel a mix of fear and excitement, and it is no difficult because you have all the "difficults" word tiah their translation at the end of the book. If you don't believe in the paranormal phenomens,you should reed it!

Barcelona's trip

Hi! Today I'd tell you something about a trip to Barcelona. The trip was few weeks ago. First of all, we arrived to Cosmoscaixa, a science museum, and we saw a lot of interesting things and experiments with their explication. For exemple an experiment that was an enomous block of ice which show us the tree states of the water, also there are strange animals, animals and human's brains and one of the most exciting thing was a piece of Amazonas. Yeah, was like an enormous hothause which contain inside a piece of Amazonas, gigant trees, really strage fishes and animals, birds.. was like a flooded forest, really amazing. We have had a really good time there. Then we travelled to Barcelona's centre, to the park Güell, the most famous Park,here, in Spain. We have eaten and then we have made a type of interactive work.. At the end, everybody was exausted and we returned home.

In class of physics and chemistry

Well, these pictures are made in the laboratory the last wednesday while we were looking the ice pass to water and boils. We do the laboratory class also in english. I think that is a really good idea, i enjoy these classes so much because that are more funny and i can also practice my english. I only have to add that the experiment goes well.

HOW TO BE A MILLIONAIRE?

Well, today I'll spoke about the book "How to be a Millionaire?" the teacher have asked us to read it. I think that is a book esay to understand, it explain itself very well and it's about a quite interesting theme. This book tell us the life of the three most rich persons and how they become millionaires, I'll expain a little bit but i wouldn't explain the finish, so if you want to know how it finish you should to read the book:

1. At first it explains Paul McCarney's life. He had to work hardly and to belive in himself. He and his friend John Lennon made a music band with 2 boys more. The band was called "The Beetles" and it became very sucessful. They have travelled around the world anf become famous. They have bronken up with the band because they have change their style. Then, Paul made a music group with his wife and John have died...
2. Then, it explain the life of Tina Turner. She hasn't have a happy chilhood: Her parents argues constantly and sometimes her mother left home. She has suffered mistreatments from her boyfriend, difinedly, she has have a hard life..
3. Finally, it tells you the life of Bill Gates, the richest men in the word! When he was little, he had really bad marks, but he wasn't stupid that was why he was lazy. When he grew up and he meet his friend Paul with who made Microsoft...

Hi!
Well first of all, i would present myself. My name is Beatriz, i'm 15 years old and i'm from Spain. I live in a little but very touristic town called Lloret de Mar. It is on the coast and in summer is very international, it is wonderful. If any time are you near here, you should visit Lloret. I have made this blog in english because it is a project of my english teacher. So, weekly a will post something here. I have another blog in spanish, but that is another theme.
